B&B IL SOLE DELLE RIVE

Rive it’s an old and romantic stone countryhouse located in the south Piedmont and in the heart of Langhe region among breathtaking views and vineyards famous for grapes like Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo for Barolo wine. Maria and Maurizio, the owners, have bought in the 2003 and restored to start the Bed & Breakfast since 2005. We are nearby Sinio, a little medieval village, known for the castle, dialect theater and for the night of witches. We are located 15 km. (9 ml.) from Alba and few minutes from Barolo and Grinzane Cavour castles. Beside to the house owner there are located the guest rooms. We have 2 double room with ensuite bathroom ad an apartment.

In the reception informations, guides, books, maps and brochure about Langhe are available for guests to plan their stay. Guests with laptop can free use the wireless internet connection.
The breakfast it’s made with natural local products (cheese, salami, eggs) and home made ( wholemeal bread, jams, cackes and cookies). In the cold season It’s in the cosy living room with fireplace, while in the warm season it’s served in the new restored barn or in the garden under the gazebo. The garden it’s available for relax and for kids playing. In the garden there is also a Jacuzzi for 2/3 places. In general pets are not allowed inside the rooms (but you can ask in advance to the owner). Closing season is from 9th December to end of March.

In the 2010 the B&B got the Italian ospitality Quality Label from “Camere del Commercio”.

Maria e Maurizio, have met travelling, so they willing to talk about their experiences around the world and their passion about the land. Maurizio it’s also a keen photographer and naturalistic guide of Piedmont region. You can visit the personal website www.mauriziotriolo.com. He can give precious suggestions about itineraries, hiking and biking. They speak with confidence english and also a little bit of french and deutch.
Three good level mountain bikes are free available to the guest that stay more then one night.
E-bikes are available for renting in nearby bike shop (30 € per day)
